About us...

We are a family who through my husband's job have been required to move homes every two to three years.

With these moves has come the need for us to make some big decisions. Should we sell up? Should we let our home out or as we are particularly fond of our homes, should we do something totally different and run them as holiday properties?

Having eventually made the decision, more than some six years ago, to let our home in Cumbria as a holiday let, we have been thrilled by its success and by how much our guests have enjoyed themselves.

Our Edinburgh Apartment was just as hard a decision for us to make as having totally renovated it in 2005 our emotional attachment to it and our fondness for it had grown ever stronger. We decided that there was nothing we would rather do with this home than to allow others to enjoy it as we were required to be abroad.

Within these moves we have been fortunate enough to have lived in some very lovely homes. Not wishing to sell either our house in Cumbria or our apartment in Edinburgh, having acquired emotional attachments to them, we decided to run them both as holiday lets.

Both houses have been incredibly successful and our guests enjoy their stays with all there is to offer in both of these exceptional locations.
