The Edinburgh Apartment is a beautiful four bedroomed, 2nd floor apartment in the trendy area of Leith, two miles north of Edinburgh town centre.
The apartment stands on a floor of an old town house that used to be owned by the Managing Director of Leith Rope Makers. They would supply all the ropeing for the
busy shipping ports of Leith.
Our particular apartment holds the smart Drawing room of the old town house with many of its original features including all its original cornicing and a beautiful marble fireplace. The Drawing Room has wonderful views across to Arthur's Seat and overlooks, Leith Links, the first ever golf course!
This is a most fashionable and vibrant area and is a short walk or bus ride from the City centre with its world renowned "Prince's Street". Should you enjoy a further choice of retail therapy or wish to catch the latest film the The Apartment
is also only a short walk or bus ride to the hugely popular Ocean Terminal. A very calm and civilised place to do your shopping, and also home to The Royal Yacht Britannia - Certainly well worth a nostaligic visit.
Trendy cafes. bars and restaurants are plentiful in and around Leith. There is a real buzz to this wonderful part of the world with so much history to discover and absorb. There are countless museums in Edinburgh, many tourist attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and of course if you can stomach it there are notorious ghost walks to take advantage of. In Edinburgh you could certainly never be at a loss for something to entertain you!
